Weaving a Tapestry of Love into the Ceremonies of Life
As an Interfaith and Inter-spiritual Minister and creative writer, I craft customized celebrations for couples that reflect their traditions, culture, priorities and stories. The design process is an exploration based on deep listening and open dialogue resulting in a highly personalized experience. Ultimately the weddings and partnership ceremonies are meaningful and memorable.
Consultations are complimentary.
Baby Blessings . . .
Baby blessings are sometimes called baby dedications, naming ceremonies, or christenings. I love officiating these occasions to welcome your child into your family and community affirming their place and significance. Through bestowing benedictions, good wishes or religious significance upon your child I blend tradition and spirituality providing a meaningful way to celebrate and support the newest member of your family.
The creation of the ceremony is a meaningful process with the parents. My clients have enjoyed selecting the music, the readings, and the wording of their vows. Some parents have shared their fascinating stories behind the child’s name.
I have officiated baby blessings in beautiful private homes, in fragrant gardens, along the shores of a crystalline blue lake and in the wild setting of a forest. It all begins with a baby.
This type of ceremony celebrates the significant milestones in the lives of young people as they transition from childhood to adolescence. It is a time of great change, discovery, and responsibility. A Coming of Age ceremony marks a rite of passage and blesses their journey ahead.

House Blessings
Congratulations on finding your perfect place!
As a new homeowner you will want to start fresh. Having a house blessing can be a meaningful way to set intentions for how you want to live in your new home. It can help you focus on values such as love, health, and prosperity. The occasion is an opportunity to express gratitude for your new residence and acknowledge the effort and resources that went into acquiring it.
In some of my house blessings I have used various elements such as ritual cleansing, burning sage, sprinkling holy water, or using incense to purify the space. Often my clients will read passages from books of wisdom and poetry. Sometimes it’s a party where extended family, friends and neighbors are invited and a meal is served after the blessing.
When we built our house, I taped prayers and blessings in between the studs before the drywall was done. It was lovely to walk into the various rooms knowing each space was blessed with my hidden personal prayers.
